Our Finance Department at the trust provides a variety of services to ensure that the hospital operates efficiently and effectively.
It deals with managing income and contracts with commissioners, supporting budget holders to control costs and implement improvements as well as making sure the trust's bank accounts and financial services are appropriately managed. The Finance Department also provides information for board reports, service line performance updates and statutory returns to the Department of Health.
The NHS has been tasked by the Government to continue to meet the challenge of operating with the financial resources available. In keeping with this directive, East Cheshire NHS Trust is constantly seeking ways of effectively using resources, maximising opportunities to grow and sustainably and safely reduce costs.
