The British Medical Association (BMA) has announced a five-day walkout of resident doctors from 7am on Wednesday 17th December to 7am on Monday 22nd December.
The NHS in Cheshire and Merseyside is calling for the public to check their regular medications and order any repeat prescriptions they might need early to avoid running out of essential medication over Christmas.
