Roger has worked in and around the NHS for 38 years, he started his NHS career as a graduate finance trainee with Mersey Regional Health Authority before moving across to work in Human Resources. Roger has worked at all levels within HR and in a range of NHS organisations, mainly in the North West of England, he is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Personnel and Development. He has over 20 years’ experience of working with Boards.
Roger has experience of working across a range of sectors – including public, private and 3rd sectors. He is passionate about supporting people to be the best they can be and developing workplaces which support them to develop and thrive. Roger is committed to the development of careers education and volunteers as an Enterprise Adviser, supporting schools with their careers strategy and approach.
Outside of work, Roger is a keen live music fan and has been a season ticket holder at Everton Football Club for over 40 years – which he says proves he is resilient!
