Jo joined the Trust in April 2026. She has over 20 years' experience as a People Professional across a range of different organisations including the private and voluntary sector, the Civil Service, Higher Education, the Fire Service and has led the People Directorate at both Leicester City Council and South Yorkshire Police.
Jo joined the NHS in 2023, becoming Deputy Chief People Officer for the University Hospital of Derby and Burton NHS Foundation Trust.
She is also a trustee for the charity VIDASheffield, who offer therapeutic support for women and girls whose mental health is affected by previous experiences of abuse and trauma.
Qualifications: PG Diploma Human Resource Management, PG Diploma Employment Law, PG Certificate Leadership, PG Cert Business Administration, MA Social Policy.
